FORD/MERCURY/LINCOLN 8 CYLINDER COMPATIBILITY: Fits 1957-74 Ford, Mercury & Lincoln single point Motorcraft 8 cylinder distributors & installs directly in place of points; operates as stand-alone inductive ignition upgrade w/o external control box
HALL EFFECT MAGNETIC TRIGGER: Uses rotating cobalt magnets & a Hall Effect module for accurate triggering with no moving parts, eliminating point wear, point bounce & frequent ignition adjustments
IMPROVED COIL OUTPUT & TIMING STABILITY: Provides more consistent coil saturation and stable ignition timing compared to mechanical points, reducing misfires and improving overall spark reliability
SEALED DESIGN: Maintenance-free construction makes it suitable for automotive, marine, agricultural, & restoration applications. Compatible coils are 40001, 40011, and 40111
