PROJECT HORIZON - Volume II

This document was prepared after a written request in 1959. The intent was to set up a permanent secret Army military base on the moon. There would be a complete underground facility to house the troops and to plan operations. The base would be prepared with weapons to keep intruders away – it even included land mines! It would also be used to protect the U.S. against hostile forces.
