Ortovox Avalanche Probe Aluminum 320 PFA, Avalanche Probe for Search & Rescue
- Use Case: Stable, extendible aluminum probe with PFA assembly system ideal for ski touring, snowmobiling, backcountry tours, and mountaineering. Offering the same features as our ALU 240 PFA probe, but is 320cm long and extendible; tip is replaceable
- Tensioning System: Robust, durable steel-cable tensioning system; steel does not stretch making it an ideal reliable material for tensioning systems
- Large Probe Tip: Interchangeable voluminous tip ensures improved penetration which reduces friction while probing; pointed probe tip penetrates hard avalanche snow quickly and more easily
- Compact and Quick Release: Optimized PFA system makes for a very compact design while the quick-fasten strap makes immediate opening and fastening possible in one quick motion
- Specifications: 240/43.5cm, 15.16 oz, 13mm. Material 7075 Alu T6; Tensioning system made from steel
