• Cold-pressed, unrefined black seed oil from Nigella sativa seeds (black cumin, kalonji): dark amber, peppery, naturally rich in thymoquinone. One ingredient, certified organic, 1 fl oz (30 ml) glass dropper.
• Our best-graded oil: moderate evidence for acne, eczema-prone skin, psoriasis and wound healing when applied to skin. Press 2-3 drops into damp skin at night, alone or 1:1 with jojoba.
• For hair: 5-6 drops massaged into the scalp before washing. Traditionally used for a flaky scalp; early evidence for dry skin and skin aging. It has a strong spicy smell that fades.
