• PURPOSE OF ACTIVATOR: To provide a surface for striking tuning fork. Works well to hold and display weighted and un-weighted tuning forks. LG SIZE (w/center hole): 3” dia x 1 3/8” high. The hole size is 5/16" - the standard diameter of most quality tuning forks.
• Activator is custom-made for Ohm Therapeutics from a virgin material that is virtually odorless. Activator is Latex-free, Lead-free, and Prop 65 Safe.
• Ohm Therapeutics tested the durometer of various materials, to ensure the ideal balance of “hardness” and “give.” If the material is too hard (e.g., hockey puck), the strike will produce an loud noise and undue wear on the tuning fork. Too soft (e.g., palm of hand) and the activation is weak and the vibration wont last as long.
