• PICKING THE RIGHT PISTON. The length of the gas lift depends on that of the old gas lift from the existing chair so confirm the lift on the current chair before ordering. Minor tolerances are normal, as different chair models require different lengths. If you are unsure reference the following: office chairs adopt 120 mm gas lifts, lab chairs commonly use 140 mm, while bar‑stool style chairs may need 200 mm.
