- Umbilical hernia belt and abdominal binder for men and women with a 6.25-inch slim elastic band and a center-positioned 5.5-inch premium removable hernia pad.
- Seam- and closure-free front: hook-and-loop fastens at the back so the abdomen stays smooth and low-profile under clothing.
- Two ways to put it on: fasten at the back, or fasten in front and rotate until the pad sits at the navel. Choose the method that is easiest to reach.
- Measure waist where the belt will sit, not pants size. S/M fits 28.3 to 35.8 inches; L/XXL fits 35.8 to 49.2 inches. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size.
- The premium 5.5-inch removable hernia pad has an anatomically shaped silicone core wrapped in a soft, plush cotton liner. It attaches at the belt center only, and the package includes the belt and pad.
- The stitched center attachment zone limits how far the belt can be adjusted. Choose size from the stated waist range rather than the unstretched belt length.
- Durable slim design for discreet wear under clothing. Rear hook-and-loop may be felt on bare skin; a thin undershirt is optional. Do not overtighten.
- For external abdominal support before surgery to help relieve discomfort, use only with your doctor’s approval. For post-surgical support, follow your healthcare professional’s directions.
- Designed for central abdominal and navel (umbilical) support. This Class I OTC external-support device does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
- Unstretched belt length is 34 inches (S/M) or 43.5 inches (L/XXL). That is not the waist range. Use the S/M and L/XXL waist ranges above to choose size.
The umbilical hernia belt is designed to provide support for umbilical hernia before surgery, or as an alternative to surgical treatment for reducible hernias. The belt can also be worn after post surgery to support the stomach muscles and protect the incision site, thus speeding up recovery and lowering the chances of recurring hernia.
The belt is made of durable, lightweight, and flexible elastic cotton blend material, which is breathable and moisture wicking for increased comfort, thermoregulation, and moisture control. The properties of the fabric allow it to provide gentle compression and support, and adapt to the shape of the body without causing discomfort or rolling down.
The umbilical hernia truss features a removable anatomically concave silicone pad, which provides localized pressure on the hernia. The pad is lined with soft fabric for added comfort and is secured with hook & loop closure, allowing to remove the pad or place it anywhere on the belt.
Hook & loop fastening of the truss ensures easy on and off and customized adjustment of compression and fit.
The slimline design of the belt allows to wear it for extended periods of time under regular clothes.
