• YOU CAN DO IT. Replacing a switch is one of the easiest do-it-yourself projects. Disconnect power to your range before completing this repair. Remove the screws from back panel and the console, and remove the console to expose the switch. Take a picture to help remember how wires are connected to your current switch. Then it is kind of obvious to remove old switch and replace with this new one.
• This switch is for the larger (8") surface element. If needed, the stem /shaft can be shortened to fit your knob. If you need for the smaller (6") element, you will then need a different part# 3149404. Search "B084HMX5WG" or 3149404 on Amazon
