• Our Maroon Non-Woven abrasive hand pads are made from synthetic fibers in a textured nonwoven fabrication. Abrasive particles are distributed throughout and bonded to the nonwoven construction with thermosetting resins. Each pad measures approximately 6 inches by 9 inches and can be cut to size using household scissors or a utility knife. These pads will not rust or splinter like steel wool tends to do.
• The Maroon pad is a Very fine, general purpose hand pad that can be used all around the house, garage or workshop. Ideal for finishing, cleaning, scuffing, removing rust and preparing multiple surface types like walls, wood, metal and more for painting or finishing.
• Since these pads are constructed of synthetic fibers and thermosetting resins, the pad will not be notably affected by water or chemically based cleaners normally used for floor maintenance or cleaners used throughout the home or workshop. This makes them perfect for tough cleaning jobs. You can use them dry or with water or neutral cleaning agents for aggressive cleaning.
• To prolong the life of the maroon pads, wash or clean them using a hose with a pressure spray nozzle to remove soil. To dissolve heavy soil or finish, the pads may be soaked in detergent or diluted stripping solution prior to washing for best results.
• The pads easily conform to cracks and crevices. You can use them on many different materials including metal, ceramic, plastic and wood. Due to the intrinsic properties of the material and variable conditions of use, there may be slight variations in the specifications and application results.
