This is a typewriter pad designed to be used with vintage and antique typewriters. It is approximately 13" by 12", and is suitable for use on almost any typewriter. This pad is made of two materials: a rubber bottom and a non-woven, ribbed fabric top. The rubber bottom grips onto a desktop or table surface and provides sound and motion deadening that pure non-woven (felt) pads cannot duplicate. At the same time, the pad has a ribbed fabric top that more easily grips typewriter feet. Flat-surface pads don't have these ribs, and lighter typewriters can slide on top of the flatter pads. The typewriter pictured in the photos is not included.
