Prevents epoxy runoff – Adding this colloidal silica to epoxy resin and hardener mixtures helps prevent runoff on vertical and overhead surfaces, improving material placement without sagging.
Enhances fairing compound performance – This additive can be used to improve epoxy fairing compounds by increasing strength, consistency, and abrasion resistance where a thicker body is needed.
Cures to a creamy off-white color – Mixed into epoxy, 406 colloidal silica produces a stable, creamy off-white paste suitable for fairing and other structural tasks.
Compatible with WEST SYSTEM epoxy systems – Designed for use with WEST SYSTEM epoxy resins and hardeners, this additive helps customize handling without altering the fundamental cure or strength of the base epoxy.
