The Nagaoka CL-1000 Record Cleaner uses a special grade of rubber elastomer that almost never loses its original surface tackiness. Just rolling it lightly over the record surface is enough to remove dust and dirt in the grooves. It works like a charm and cleans for many years. You can use it effectively as a standalone record cleaner or in combination with a carbon fibre brush and other record cleaning methods. For example, the Nagaoka CL-1000 Record Cleaner removes the line of dust left behind by a carbon fiber brush. You can clean your records with the Nagaoka CL-1000 before storage in their record sleeves so they will be kept clean and ready to play.
