Mudtools Shape 4 Polymer Rib, Pink Ultra Soft - Corner Edge Pottery Tool

Mudtools Shape 4 Polymer Rib, Pink Ultra Soft - Corner Edge Pottery Tool

• Pottery Ribs for Crisp Lines & Defined Forms: The Mudtools Shape 4 is one of the most distinctive pottery ribs in the lineup, built with a corner that creates a beautiful line on the clay—two flat surfaces and three radiuses for cleaner definition, sharper transitions, and more character in the form. The Pink rib is Mudtools' ULTRA SOFT flexibility—the gentlest touch in the entire lineup, made for delicate surfaces, soft clay, and final finishing passes where every other rib is too firm.
• Balanced Control, Corner Precision: The flat faces smooth and compress walls while the corner cuts crisp accent lines and defined transitions—one rib for both refining the surface and adding character to the form.
• Five Color-Coded Flexibility Levels: Pink (Ultra Soft) for the most delicate finishing touch; Red (Very Soft) for gentle fine adjustments; Yellow (Soft) for everyday balance; Green (Medium) for controlled shaping and compression; Blue (Firm) for structure and strength. Choose the flex that matches your clay body and technique.
• Signature Polymer Flexibility: Crafted from Mudtools' unique flexible polymer that resists wear and burr formation, Shape 4 ribs become naturally burnished with general studio use and glide over clay without sticking or dragging.
• Made in the USA by Mudtools: Designed by potter Michael Sherrill and trusted by ceramic artists worldwide. Built to last, easy to clean, and comfortable in the hand—every studio needs at least one.
