With today's extreme compression ratios you need stronger more durable gaskets. Mr. Gasket's steel shim gaskets are made from .020 inch steel shim stock and made thinner than OE head gaskets thereby increasing engine compression. Stress formed embossments will seal the extreme cylinder pressure. They are also coated with a high temperature silicone to ensure seal of engine fluids.
