It started with a bang. A cartoon bang, actually, when a chug from the original jug of MOUNTAIN DEW sent a shotgun blast through the brim of Willy the Hillbilly’s 10-gallon hat. That was the beginning—the chug heard from the hills of Tennessee to the shores of Carolina—and ever since, that sweet southern flavor has made its way to every corner of the DEW Nation.
