Model 1860 Cavalry Officer Saber with Brass Guard & Steel Scabbard – US Army Ceremonial Saber Sword
- Hand forged British military spec steel blade provides flexibility, bending over 20° & returning to original, engineered for both slashing and thrusting applications.
- Wood handle wrapped in premium leather & brass wire for a secure & comfortable grip, combining a classic timeless look with a functional controlling display or handling.
- Based on an earlier French model, the 1860 Cavalry Saber was beautifully etched with “U.S.” and “E Pluribus Unum,” accented by foliage and military trophies reflecting classic 19th-century military design.
- Complete with a strong steel scabbard featuring a brass pommel, suspension rings & drag, completing the saber for ceremonial use, reenactment, parades, or display.

This fine reproduction saber is a faithful copy of ones used. The hand forged blade is British military spec steel that will flex over 20° and return to true. The leather handle is wire wrapped. The brass, 3-branch guard is nicely hand chased and engraved, as is the brass pommel. Blade is beautifully etched with "U.S.," and "E Pluribus Unum," along with foliage and military trophies. Steel scabbard has brass throat, rings and drag.
