Meinl Percussion Vintage Wood Tambourine with Hammered Plated Steel/Solid Brass Jingles, Single Row — NOT Made in China — for All Musicians, 2-Year Warranty, (TA1VM-WB)

• TRADITIONAL BUILD: the Meinl Traditional Wood Tambourine is built with a handheld wood frame that's lightweight and easy to play; plus, it gives the overall sound more warmth and presence
• WHY IT MATTERS: the warm tonal musical depth of wood easily blends with acoustic instruments where tambourines are traditionally played
• DRIVING THE SOUND: mixed hammered solid brass/plated steel jingles have an extra-dry, warm, vintage sound; combining steel and brass gives you bright attack along with warm sustain, while hammering dries out the tone
• ZOOM IN: the ergonomic grip gives you a solid handle on the tambourine with a comfortable feel for all skill levels
• OF NOTE: our walnut brown matte finish gives the tambourine good looks while preserving the hardwood frame; this finish is smooth to the touch and made to last
• WHERE TO USE: live, studio, acoustic, orchestral percussion, choral groups, concert band, worship music, school band
• BY THE NUMBERS: 10" frame, 8 jingle pairs, 1 row
• THE TAKEAWAY: this is a solid choice for the warmer tonal quality of a traditional wood tambourine with a fantastic vintage sound that can be used for whatever you need
