Meinl Artisan String Cajon with Espresso Burst Frontplate / Baltic Birch Body - MADE IN SPAIN - Soleá Line, 2-YEAR WARRANTY (AESLEB)

• HANDMADE IN SPAIN: Meinl Artisan Edition Cajons are hand-crafted masterpieces built in Spain by renown luthier Jose 'Pepote' Hernandez Diaz; no big assembly lines here—only highly skilled small batch construction with the finest wood selections
• WHY IT MATTERS: Pepote is a master cajon craftsman; he's tested countless wood combinations and varnishes, created a special unbreakable snare string, designed baffles and pop filters—the list goes on; everything he does revolves around chasing the best
• TONEWOODS USED: a 9-ply Baltic birch body and Baltic birch frontplate deliver rich, punchy, and balanced tone; Solea Line Artisan Cajons are also equipped with a curved Baltic birch baffle by the sound port for deeper bass notes
• DRIVING THE SNARE SOUND: spanning the frontplate inside are two fixed sets of five custom, hand wound micro-coiled steel cajon strings for a beautifully lush snare tone; they're pre-tuned to create a sensitive touch and won't require adjustment
• ZOOM IN: the cajon is rounded at the corners and sanded down to form thumb notches where your hands lay in their natural playing position; this gives you exceptional hand contact with more comfort
• LOOKING UNDERNEATH: four silicone feet keep the cajon stable on any surface (wood, laminate, carpet, brick, concrete); these feet protect the cajon while eliminating vibrations to preserve the instrument's crystal-clear sound quality
• BY THE NUMBERS: 11 1/4" W x 11 3/4" D x 19" H
• THE TAKEAWAY: this is a special handcrafted cajon made to be appreciated for its details all around—sound, feel, response, look, and durability; there's no doubt it will serve you your entire life
