- MAXXIS MINION DHR II: With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the Minion DHR II offers excellent cornering and braking traction.
- 3C MAXXTERRA: An intermediate triple compound configuration used across our mountain tire line. The 3C MaxxTerra compound offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip, which makes it ideal for trail riding in all conditions.
- DOUBLEDOWN: Maxxis’ solution for enduro racing. Two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert provide the enduro racer with the support and protection of a downhill tire, but in a more compliant package. DoubleDown specs are a great choice for most e-mountain bikes.
- E25: Tires with an E25 rating are suitable for light duty e-bikes with assistance up to a maximum of 16.1 MPH.

Imbued with the lightweight versatility to effortlessly handle everything from floaty, loose trail to fast-rolling hardpack, the Maxxis Minion DHR II 3C/Double Down/TR 27. 5in Tire is a go-to choice for downhill and freeride adventures. The DHR borrows the shoulder lugs from its sibling, the DHF, for a slightly wider stance than the OG DHR. The center lugs, which were once completely separated, are now nearly joined for a bit of a paddle effect. Together these improvements mean better cornering and improved braking, especially in loose conditions.Maxxis' Double Down dual-ply casing construction provides slightly heavier, downhill-worthy protection compared to EXO. While this does add a bit of weight, it makes up for that small compromise with increased durability through hard-charging runs and heart-dropping descents.
