Master FX Master Flame Class A Fire Retardant for Wood & Fabric, 1 Quart

Certified Class A fire retardant spray creates clear, dry, fire-resistant barrier that prevents the spread of flames.
Verified Class A performance: SGS ASTM E84 testing of treated wood produced a Flame Spread Index of 15 and Smoke Developed value of 55, earning a Class A rating.
NFPA 701 and California recognized: SGS testing of treated absorbent fabric passed NFPA 701-2019 Test Method 1; registered with the California State Fire Marshal under Title 19 for interior use.
For absorbent materials: Treats unfinished wood, paper, cotton, fabric furnishings and other porous surfaces; not for painted, sealed, waterproof, polymer, nylon, silk or other nonabsorbent materials.
Clear, water-based formula: Non-toxic and not classified as hazardous under OSHA HazCom 2012; dries clear and leaves little to no residue when properly applied.
Straightforward application: Spray evenly on all sides or soak smaller items, allow 24 hours to dry and repeat as needed; one gallon covers up to 200 square feet, depending on absorption.

Master Flame is a Class 'A' fire retardant, non-toxic, eco-friendly and easy to use on a variety of materials. Master Flame forms a thermal insulation barrier that prevents dangerous flames from spreading. Master Flame also inhibits the development of toxic hydrocarbon smoke. Applications: Use to treat absorbent materials and surfaces such as drapes, curtains, decorations, uniforms, clothing, wood, pre-construction materials, furnishings, carpeting, packing materials, motor home interiors, holiday decorations, storage boxes, and other materials for added safety against fire. Basically, if it can soak into the object, it will help inhibit flames. Organic materials are best. Plastics, Styrofoam, polystyrenes and similar materials are not well protected with Master Flame. It can also be mixed 50/50 with low gloss latex paint to inhibit flames on interior walls from spreading. Directions: Master Flame is easy to use. Just spray Master Flame on the item or surface being treated. In bulk applications, you may also dip the items and allow to drip dry. In all applications, allow Master Flame to completely penetrate the item or surface. Allow material to dry completely. If you are using Master Flame to fire retard clothing and other fabrics, and plan to wash these items in the future, it is recommended that Master Flame be reapplied after the third washing, as some of the product's effectiveness will be diminished due to washing. When mixing Master Flame with latex paint, mix equal parts of Master Flame and paint.
