Our shampoo combines the protective and moisturizing properties of Manuka Honey with the high levels of natural Vitamin C of the Australian Kakadu Plum. Manuka Honey is known to protect the scalp and moisturize hair in a natural way. Kakadu Plum (Terminalia ferdinandiana) has the highest concentration of Vitamin C of any fruit (3200-5000mg/100g, compared with 50mg/100g for oranges). This high vitamin content has made the Kakadu Plum a mainstay of Australian Aboriginal practices. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that serves to promote healthy hair. A new formula (released April 2012) includes proteins extracted from Jojoba leaves, which coat hair strands providing a protective film that in most cases obviates the use of conditioners.
