With 3rd party GOTS organic certification all the way through packaging, you'll feel the quality of this towel from your skin to your conscience. The specs start with the long staple organic cotton fiber, which is hand picked. Our farmers don't have to worry about dangerous carcinogens from petroleum based herbicides and pesticides-we don't use them. The yarn made in ring spinning frames-where the softest and most durable yarns are made. Each step through weaving and finishing is done in under the requirements of the Global Organic Textile Standards to ensure no contamination, eco-friendly processes, and fair treatment of employees. Dyeing of the fabric is done with non-toxic fiber reactive dyes; we don't like formaldehyde and heavy metals in our towels. Finally, the towels are packaged in a biodegradable bag which will decompose just like an orange peel.
