MXR based the EVH 5150 Overdrive Pedal on the EVH 5150 amplifier. A closed-collaboration with Eddie Van Halen this overdrive pedal produces hyper-driven tones. It is equipped with multi-stage MOSFETs that gives you that thick distortion sound. Plus, you get a 3-band passive tone stack EQ section, which allows you to dial in your perfect tone. The intelligent noise gate is a nice touch that tames unwanted noise and keeps stray harmonics under control. The EVH 5150 Overdrive Pedal can run on either 9V battery or power supply.
