• Full Set of 48 Colors: The set holds 48 Colors of oil pastels, one stick per shade, so a full palette is ready from the first page. Each round stick measures about 2.76 x 0.39 inches for a steady, comfortable hold.
• Smooth Oil-Based Color: The oil-based formula is soft and glides onto paper with little effort. Use light pressure for fine lines and accents, or press firmly to lay down dense, even coverage across larger areas.
• Blend and Layer by Hand: Work neighboring shades together with a fingertip, paper stump or clean cloth to build gradients. Layer a light tone over a darker one to shift values without water, brushes or extra mediums.
• Classroom to Studio Use: These oil pastels for artists suit sketchbooks, art classes, mixed paper studies and finished work on textured pastel paper or card stock. Teachers can also hand out single shades as oil pastel crayons for group projects.
• Tips for Soft Sticks: Since the formula is soft, grip each piece close to the drawing end and keep pressure moderate to limit snapping. Store the box at room temperature away from direct heat so every color stays firm between uses.
