• PROTECTS YOUR COPPER FROM ROUGH-IN TO START-UP: A wall boot for the copper lines, sized so the whole line set terminates in one box. Line sets go in at the start of construction and sit exposed for months while framing, siding and landscaping crews work around them. Run the line set, condensation drain and low voltage control wire into the Lineset Box, or store them inside it until you return, and they are shielded from being bent, crushed or torn off. One kink means rework, and rework is hours you did not bid.
• CLAIM YOUR BAY ON DAY ONE: Install the Lineset Box when you cut out the house, before the siding crew arrives. It stakes your space on the exterior wall and gives every line set a defined, professional home, so you are not negotiating for wall space with three other trades six weeks later. • A WEATHERTIGHT TERMINATION POINT, NOT A HOLE AND SOME FOAM: Cut a 10-3/4 x 5-3/4 in opening in the sheathing, seat the box, and the mounting flange sits flat against the sheathing while the siding runs into it, so the penetration sits in the plane of the wall instead of standing off it. Seal the flange with flashing tape and the line set termination is finished the way the rest of the envelope is.
• ONE MOLDED PIECE, NO ASSEMBLY: Cut the opening, seat the box, fasten the flange with eight 3/4 in deck screws, run your lines. There is nothing to put together, nothing to clip on, and nothing extra to buy beyond screws and tape.
