This non-fancy compact ink slab delivers more than the size. Excellent quality, doesn't break easily. The two sides can be used for different purposes. One side is "smooth" for liquid ink, one side is "rough" suitable to grind ink stick (see photos). The bottom is tailored so it doesn't skid easily. Great quality but light weight. Perfect for beginners or beyond. When done using it, don't need to throw away the ink. Just put it back inside the plastic bag and zip it.

This item is great for beginners all the way to the pros, probably. The only down side of this product is it lacks a decent cover (other than the original box and zipper). Because of that, some more serious users might want to consider this much higher quality exquisite ink well with real ink stone cover,
