Made in France with heritage – These candies are produced in Burgundy (France) following a process dating back to 1591 in the village of Flavigny‑sur‑Ozerain.
Single-anise seed center – Each candy begins with one green anise seed at its core, then is gradually coated in sugar syrup to become the finished mint.
Iconic decorative tin packaging – The 1.8 oz size comes in a collectible, vintage-style tin (about 30 mints per tin) that makes it suitable for gifting or display.
All-natural ingredients – The ingredients list is minimal: sugar, natural flavouring, green aniseed.

This candy, consisting of a grain of aniseed coated in sugar, is perhaps the oldest in France, as early as 872! Today, the factory is still located at the heart of the ancient abbey, where the process of successive coats of sugar over an anise seed is completed in 15 days.
