Legines Brass Compression Tube Fitting, Union, 1/4" OD x 1/4" OD Coupler, Pack of 2
- Three piece construction - nut, sleeve and body with attached insert Use with copper, brass, aluminum, or plastic tubing
- Manufactured for low and medium pressure tubing connection work where excessive vibration or tube movement is not involved.
- Use with copper,aluminum and thermoplastic tub-ing.Not recommended for steel tubing.
- Not recommended for application using gas eous media.
- Meets specifications and standards of ASA, ASME asn SAE.
The sleeve type pipe joint is composed of three parts: joint body, sleeve, nut. When the ferrule and the nut are inserted into the joint body on the steel pipe, when the nut is tightened, the outer side of the front end of the ferrule is fit with the conical surface of the joint body, and the inner edge bites into the seamless steel pipe evenly. Its installation is simple, high pressure, and therefore be widely used.
