This beautiful coffee is a very clean coffee that offers a great balance of sweetness and acidity. It has a medium to bold body with some fruity and sugar notes and a slight tannic finih. The Tanzania Peaberry Arabica Coffee is known to be a novelty coffee with good reason. The Peaberry, also known as the caracoli, is a very specific type of bean. Most coffee cherries contain two seeds, and they each develop a flat side, but sometimes only one of the two seeds gets fertilized creating a round bean. This pea-shaped bean is known as a peaberry. This coffee originates from the Central/East African family that offers bright acidity and is aggressively flavorful. The "Peaberries" are hand sorted and sold separately. The peaberry is an unusual coffee that is known for its bright, and sharp character.
