LapWorks Wizard Velcro Straps

These straps were specifically designed to work with a Wizard Desk Stand but can also work for any of the other look-alike Wizard products provided they are in the same size range. There are two Velcro straps per set.

The Wizard Velcro Straps secure your notebook to your Wizard Desk Stand so that you can turn the Wizard's platform upside down so you can enjoy viewing or working on your notebook while laying flat on your back.

Here's how it works: pose the Wizard as show above in Step #1, then lay the Wizard flat and secure the notebook with the Velcro straps as shown in Step #2. (One strap to secure the left side of the notebook and the other strap secures the right side.) Make sure you tighten the Velcro straps so that you are confident your notebook is secure.

Once you have both straps firmly attached and your notebook is secure set the Wizard right side up and test the stability of the Wizard to insure the proper center of gravity as shown in Step #3.

The Wizard Velcro Straps measure 1" wide and 31" long not including the plastic buckle. It consists of three sections of material: first there's 15-1/2" of black Polyester band that's attached to the plastic loop. It's followed by 9-1/2" of Velcro loops and finally 6" of Velcro Hooks. Each of the three sections are sewn together and double stitched to insure a permanent bond that will hold indefinitely. The white samples shown above demonstrate the double stitching for greater strength. The straps are available in black only.
