• Application: 200mL capacity supports medium-scale Schlenk reactions, solvent exchange, recrystallization and inert-atmosphere workflows.
• High Vacuum Valve: The 0-4mm PTFE-encapsulated stem uses dual O-ring seals to help shield the sealing rings from reagents. Its precision-tapered tip seats against the glass valve body for controlled vacuum or inert-gas flow.
• Pear-Shaped Recovery: Unlike a conventional round-bottom Schlenk flask, the tapered lower body concentrates small volumes and residues at the lowest section, reducing sample hold-up and transfer loss.
• Schlenk Line Ready: Connect the hose sidearm through suitable vacuum tubing to a Schlenk-line vacuum manifold or nitrogen or argon supply for controlled evacuation and backfilling. The 24/40 Outer Joint fits matching 24/40 Inner Joint glassware.
• Safety First: Inspect before vacuum use. During N2/Ar backfilling, use slight flow and keep an open bubbler or relief path in the connected system. Never heat a sealed flask; vent before opening.
