- For stripping single, multi and fine stranded cables with plastic or rubber insulation; especially useful with THHN from 8 to 32 AWG
- Adapts automatically to the respective cable diameter preventing damage to the conductor
- Fine adjustment dial enables precise setting of the cutting depth for special materials or temperature conditions
- Wire cutter for copper and aluminum wires, multi-stranded up to 8 AWG (10 mm²) and single stranded up to 10 AWG (6 mm²)
- Adjustable length stop from 1/8" – 7/8" (3.0 – 22.0 mm) for stripping the same lengths during repetitive work
- Body is constructed of lightweight fiberglass-reinforced plastic
- Replacement blade and plastic clamping jaws
- Blades are made of special tool steel; oil-hardened, replaceable
- Integrated tether attachment point for tool drop protection, ANSI-compliant and compatible with KNIPEX Tethered Tools tethering system
- Replaceable pair of blades (12 49 01); Replacement torsion spring (12 49 04); Replacement coil spring (12 49 05); Replacement length stop (12 49 23)
