Klark Teknik 2A-KT

• Affordable Iconic Compression: The 2A-KT is an affordable homage to the legendary Teletronix LA-2A, offering mastering-quality compression and limiting at a price point suitable for both studio and live use. It brings the smooth, musical sound of the LA-2A to the 21st century.
• High-Quality Components: Constructed with high-quality discrete components, the 2A-KT uses vintage lag-free optical attenuator technology and premium tubes (12AX7, 12BH7, EL84) for a warm, low-noise analog output. This ensures superb signal integrity and sound quality.
• MIDAS Legacy: Incorporating custom-designed MIDAS input and output transformers, the 2A-KT delivers the ultimate in high-quality audio reproduction. MIDAS’s reputation for award-winning mic preamps and build quality is reflected in the 2A-KT’s design.
• Flexible Controls: The 2A-KT offers a frequency response from 10 Hz to 20 kHz (+/- 1 dB) and features gain limiting from 0 to 30 dB with ultra-fast attack and variable release times. The Limit/Compress switch and adjustable stereo-link TRS connection provide unparalleled flexibility.
• Classic Metering and Balanced Connections: Staying true to the original, the 2A-KT features classic d'Arsonval VU meters for a realistic view of perceived loudness. It also includes both XLR and 1/4" TRS balanced inputs and outputs, ensuring compatibility and professional audio performance.
