Product Description
Kings County Tools Pickaroon Logging Tool with Hickory Wood Handle, 15”
- REFRAIN FROM STRAIN - The Pickaroon is a tool for safely moving cut logs, known as rounds, with ease saving your back
- COMPACT AND USEFUL - This 15-Inch farm and yard tool is great for moving shorter sections while not taking up too much space
- LOCKS INTO WOOD – One slight swing and the duck bill tip connects securely enough to maneuver into a position to chop into firewood without stooping down
- DOMESTIC WOOD HANDLE - The handles are American Hickory and provide a great feel for this well-balanced tool
- EUROPEAN QUALITY - Made in Germany, the tempered steel blade was commissioned at a third-generation foundry where precision craftsmanship and optimal functionality drove the manufacturing process
The Pickaroon is a tool for safely moving cut logs, known as "rounds." The heads of these two, commissioned at a third generation German foundry, are the same size, with different handle lengths. Our shorter pickaroon (15") is great for moving shorter sections of wood. The handles are American Hickory, nicely shaped, and the heads are forged steel. With the curved beak-like precision point driven into a log, a round can be pulled, flung, rolled and pitched where needed with a surprising degree of leverage. These are two exceptional tools that will make your life easier when you take on the job of being Paul Bunyan.
