Katadyn Vario Ceramic Disc Replacement Pre-Filter

Katadyn Vario Ceramic Disc Replacement Pre-Filter

• CERAMIC DISC REPLACEMENT FOR THE KATADYN VARIO FILTER: A go-to piece of backpacking camping gear, the Vario Ceramic Disc shields the main glass fiber cartridge from silt and turbid water to extend the life of your Vario microfilter.
• EXTENDS MICROFILTER LIFE IN DIRTY WATER: When you engage Longer Life mode on the Vario, the ceramic disc absorbs the wear from silt and turbid water that would otherwise clog and shorten the life of the main cartridge underneath.
• CLEANABLE AND REUSABLE FOR LONG-HAUL USE: Clean the ceramic disc in the field with the brush pad included with your Vario filter to restore flow and continue filtering. The disc is fully replaceable when it reaches the end of its serviceable life.
• DROP-IN COMPATIBILITY WITH THE KATADYN VARIO: Sized specifically for the Vario filter housing. Install when your original disc shows wear or when you want a fresh start before a long backpacking trip or thru-hike.
• Katadyn Has Been Making Water Safe Since 1928: For nearly 100 years, Katadyn has delivered clean water to hikers, travelers, campers, and aid workers worldwide. At home, on the road, or in the backcountry, clean water within reach.
