Kahler Hammershoi Vase | Anthracite Grey Stoneware | 8.3 Inch

Kahler Hammershoi Vase | Anthracite Grey Stoneware | 8.3 Inch

• Drawn From History: The Hammershoi series takes its rounded, full-bodied form directly from Svend Hammershoi's original vase shapes, which defined Kahler's workshop from 1893. Hans-Christian Bauer kept that generous silhouette and added the deep vertical grooves that now run across every object in the range.
• Grooved Stoneware Body: The grooves run the full height of the vase from base to collar, hand-shaped in stoneware with a depth and definition that gives the glaze room to shift in tone as it settles into each furrow and rises across each ridge.
• Generous Vase Scale: At 8.3 inches tall and 6.7 inches in diameter, it holds a generous stem arrangement or stands alone as a design statement on a shelf, dresser or side table. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, not dishwasher safe.
• Anthracite Glaze Depth: The anthracite grey deepens in the grooves and lightens across the raised ridges, giving the vase a tonal range that shifts with the light around it and reads differently against warm and cool surroundings alike.
• Arrives Gift Ready: Available in ten colors and four sizes, the Hammershoi vase arrives in Kahler's branded gift packaging, ready to give without additional wrapping, and joins plates, mugs, bowls, wine glasses and the oak grinder across the series, all sharing the same groove.
