Notes:Â
Remove your mate brackets from your big green egg using a wrenchÂ
Once brackets have been removed, remove the phillips head screws that attach the shelves of the mates to the metal bracketÂ
Place your replacement shelves face down so the screw holes are facing upward .make sure your place a cloth or soft surface underneath the shelves prevent scratchingÂ
Place the mates metal brackets over the shelves and align the bracket screw holes with the pilot hole on the shelvesÂ
Use the 16 stainless steel pan head #6*3/8 inch screws that were included in your package to attach the shelves to the bracketsÂ
Re-attached the mate brackets to your egg using the same wrench To refresh the finish after exposure to the element ,apply teak oil to the shelves with a sot cotton rag for a nice new look!
