• CERAMIC BOARD HEAT PLATE 2-3/4" x 10" x 1" Thick- HIGH TEMPERATURE SOLDERING BOARD
• Use for Soldering, Melting and welding a protective heat plate for the bench surface protection for the bench. This ceramic board provides a surface shield to solder, also can be used for whenever melting metal as an insulation plate. Plate weight is over 1-1/2 Lbs - will stay put.
• The board comes with 4 rubber feet which elevate and keep the board from direct contact of the surface, providing with air circulation. Rubber feet are not mounted, can be removed and are replaceable, to use opposite side. Note: Board should not used directly on any combustible surface, may cause a Fire Hazard! Make sure to always anneal the board prior to use!
• This can be done simply with a torch applying light even heat to the surface of the plate Board is made of high temperature refractory ceramic material (Non-Asbestos) with a high temperature tolerance of up to 2000ºF / 950ºC. Board is very durable and hard with smooth work surface, yet it is a Fragile Piece of Ceramic and should be handled such.
