• HELICAL CUTTERHEAD, 36 CARBIDE INSERTS, MAGNETIC CONTROLS - 4 rows of four-sided carbide inserts spin at 5,500 RPM (no load) for a smooth, quiet cut; each insert indexes 90° for a fresh edge instead of sharpening, and a magnetic control panel adds a layer of shutoff safety alongside the base-mounted On/Off switch.
• BUILT FOR EDGE- AND FACE-JOINTING SOLID WOOD — NOT FOR RABBETS - 8" width capacity and a 1/8" maximum cutting depth per pass handle standard edge- and face-jointing; the helical head is not designed for rabbeting cuts, and JET's safety guidance calls for stock at least 10" long, 3/4" wide, and 1/4" thick.
