• Corrosive placards are pre-numbered with 4-digit identification number (UN 2922), hazard class (8) and DOT-required symbol.
• Class 8 placards meet DOT placarding specifications of 49 CFR § 172.519 for hazardous materials identification.
• Use hazmat placards for shipping corrosives (corrosive liquids, toxic, n.o.s.).
• Up to 1-year substrate outdoor durability depending on preparation, application, geographic area and exposure conditions. Clean removability for approximately 6 months (depending on the substrate it is applied to and environmental exposure to UV and temperature). Adhesive will have a tendency to become permanent beyond 6 months.
• Hazmat placards measure 10-3/4" x 10-3/4" and are made of .0032" thick flexible vinyl film with removable acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive backing and 50# peel-off liner. Designed for short-term applications with a service temperature range of -40˚F to +200˚F and minimum application temperature of +40˚F.
