Janice Reeves, a junior at East Craftridge High, lives in the shadows of a terrible past and an abusive present. So when the high school had a field trip to the Bahamas, Janice grabs the opportunity to escape and enjoy a little freedom. Unfortunately, on the same plane is her all too perfect English teacher, Casey Rush, who has always been curious about Janice’s quiet behavior.



What could have been a fun-filled activity for the school met a sudden twist of fate as their plane takes a nose dive into the ocean. The only survivors — Janice and Casey.
