RB Rubber 12' Black Reducer Strip For 3/8" Rubber Flooring - When transitioning rubber flooring to another flooring surface such as concrete, ceramic tile, vinyl linoleum or hardwood, it is important to reduce the edge and remove any tripping hazards created. A rubber flooring reducer strip essentially creates a ramp that transitions a higher flooring surface to a lower flooring surface. Reducer strips are easy to install on 3/8" thick rubber gym mats, recycled rolled rubber, vulcanize puzzle tiles and more. They can be cut to size with a razor knife and then adhered directly to the flooring edge via a urethane based adhesive or non-solvent based caulking (adhesive not included).
