The Inmate 1142980: Prison Prevention Workbook for Students Grades 7th- 12th incorporates both Author Desiree Lee’s personal experiences with the law, research-based preventative strategies, and sustainable programs that bring families, schools, and communities together to support the educational development of students. Ensuring that all students have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain high-quality education, graduate high school, refrain from criminal activities and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards and assessments.
