The Controllers recorded for Frederick Knight's Juana label from 1975 to 1981, cutting three LPs and a string of 45s. They hit the big time in 1977 with the intense soul ballad Somebody's Gotta Win, Somebody's Gotta Lose (8 minute version included here) and are considered to be the finest harmony group to emerge from the south during the 1970s. 20 track collection totaling 80 minutes.
