So why would I consider swapping to LED Headlights you might ask?
Simply because of some of the benefits the LED has over HIDs which include: longer lifespan, higher durability, cooler running temperature, lower lumen depreciation, easier to install (since they usually don't need a ballast) & finally my favorite --> instant on w/ no warm up period.
Compare with HID, LED headlight have more advantages:
First, LED headlights can be started in milliseconds.at the same time, the HID need several seconds to start.
Second, LED can saving the power. Because HID need 23000v high votage to start, it will damage the battary.
Third, The life time of LED is more longer , LED chip can be used for 30000hous, but HID just 3000hours.
