- Connect to a hose 50 feet or shorter (a longer hose will compromise the siphon action)
- As the mixture is siphoned through, it will be diluted 16 times (at a 1:16 ratio)
- Finished product will be the correct proportion when discharged from the hose
Brass siphon mixer with back-flow preventer. Connect a hose of no longer than 50 feet to the siphon and drop the spring end of the suction tube in a bucket containing water and fertilizer. As the mixture is siphoned through, it will be diluted 16 times. The finished product will be the correct proportion when discharged from the hose.
