• RS-232/422/485 SERIAL DEVICE SERVER – Connects RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 equipment to a 10/100Base-T(X) Ethernet network, eliminating the need for separate serial converters. Includes 1 DB9 male RS-232 port, 1 RS-422/485 port with a 4-pin 3.81 mm terminal block, and 1 RJ45 Ethernet port.
• HIGH-SPEED SERIAL COMMUNICATION – Supports serial baud rates from 300 to 921,600 bps for both legacy and high-speed industrial equipment. Configurable communication settings include 5, 6, 7, or 8 data bits; 1 or 2 stop bits; and none, odd, or even parity. PWR, RUN, and TX/RX LED indicators provide clear operating status.
• FLEXIBLE TCP/IP AND MODBUS CONNECTIVITY – Supports ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, HTTP, DHCP, and Modbus protocols. Multiple operating modes include VCOM, MCP, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP Client, Modbus TCP Server, and Modbus TCP Client, allowing serial devices to communicate with a wide range of industrial software and network systems.
• INDUSTRIAL ISOLATION AND SURGE PROTECTION – The 10/100M RJ45 port includes built-in 1.5 kV isolation, while the serial interfaces provide ±6 kV ESD protection. Complies with EN 55032/24, CISPR 32, and FCC Part 15B Class A, with EN 61000-4-2 contact 6 kV/air 8 kV ESD, 3 V/m RS and CS, 2 kV power/1 kV signal EFT, and 2 kV power/1 kV signal surge immunity.
• WIDE-TEMPERATURE, LOW-POWER INDUSTRIAL DESIGN – Operates from 12–48 VDC with only 1.2 W power consumption and provides both a DC connector and a 3-pin 5.08 mm terminal block with reverse-polarity protection. The IP30 metal enclosure supports DIN-rail mounting and measures 1.18 × 3.94 × 3.15 in. (30 × 100 × 80 mm), with a net weight of 0.55 lb. (248 g). Rated for -40 to 85°C operation and storage at 5%–95% non-condensing humidity, with a factory reset button, Henrich’s U.S.-based team, and a 5-year warranty.
