This handsome rabbit came from England. I bought him at an auction for $6 and then paid a small fortune to ship him home. He is a long time fixture in my yard. For a long time I have been curious about ACEO paintings. ACEO stands for art cards, editions, and originals. For a long time they have been a way for artists to trade their work. I first thought that an ACEO could be a subset of a painting. I was wrong. They seem to me to be an art form all of their own. I have painted many of these from the small sketchbook I carry on my walks. They are all matted to fit in an 8x10 inch frame. The second image provided shows the ACEO in the 8x10 mat and the third image shows a painting of how two of these paintings would look displayed in a home. They are by nature small (2.5 in x 3.5 in) - matted to 8x10 inches. They would make a lovely and heartfelt present. All paintings are original, are painted by me and are ready to ship. They are painted with artist watercolor paints on 100% acid-free paper.
