• 【Heat-Tempered Blade & Bo-Hi】 Heat tempering hardens the whole blade for resilience and flex, leaving a visible wavy pattern near the edge; a bo-hi (fuller groove) runs each side of the short tanto blade.
• 【Dragon Tsuba & Rayskin Handle】 A solid dragon-motif tsuba; the wood handle is wrapped over genuine rayskin (samegawa) and black cotton ito with a menuki — traditional one-handed tanto mountings.
