This is a top grade, hard case to protect your NEXUS. It is slightly flexible TPU material that hugs your tablet. The stand pops out and is great for viewing photos, movies, or netflix. The very front of the case is black gel that wraps around the sides to the front of the tablet - the back is harder smokey white TPU material. The stand is retractable as seen in the photos. You can see through the smokey white when the tablet is in the case. It is a very nice looking case and extremely functional. You get a stand without the bulk. The screen is open in the front. The black part seen is gel that wraps around your tablet and the white smokey part is hard. It is slightly transparent as seen in the photos and makes for a very nice looking, functional case.
